Aesthetically Pleasing Security Measures

The ay Park Sewage Treatment Plant in East Rockaway, NY wanted to revitalize its location after the damage from Hurricane Sandy. Moreover, they wanted to take adequate measures to ensure that the new facility would be state of the art for one of our country’s largest waste water treatment plants.

A prefabricated 13’ x 20’ steel building was requested by the county’s partner Grace Industries and Austin Mohawk fit the bill. The booth consists of plenty of floor space for security, an ADA bathroom, a kitchen, and a storage room. There is insulation throughout the booth and three HVAC’s to capture the proper climate control that’s desired. Other features include carpeting/rubber tile, double-pane tinted Low-E glass, LED lighting inside/out, and exterior precast concrete wall panels. The two-toned color selection matches up with the color scheme that Bay Park wanted to highlight with their new roll out. Quite the high end booth!
